    I bought a second hand car. It required quite a few expensive jobs doing to it which he promised to do before the sale went ahead. He told me this work had been done. After purchasing the car it was the same day that I discovered that he had done none of the work. He had lied through his teeth to me. When I returned to complain & insist that he carried out the work, he told me in so many words ""tough luck mate"" & denied saying that he would carry out this work & that I'd got a real bargain & I should be grateful. There was nothing I could legally do about it so please, if you buy a second hand car, especially off this man, make sure you get his promises ""in writing""
